WELCOME
We have started the year with a bang and launched a new a la carte menu and tasting menu, as always we have vegetarian and vegan options available and can cater for most dietaries.
We are open for lunch 7 days a week from 12noon, our last booking is at 1.45pm, we serve our lovely set menu and a mini tasting menu.
Dinner opens from 5pm and our last booking is 9pm midweek and 9.45pm at the weekends.

WEDGWOOD IN 2024
We are looking forward to the upcoming year, we are organising exciting wine and whisky events that we will plan for in the next few months.
Our first event is with the wonderful local wine and beer merchant, Great Grog. We are hosting a Wines of Burgundy dinner on Thursday 25th April - delicious food and glorious wine - please book direct with Great Grog here.
The Edinburgh Seafood festival returns to the St James Quarter, Paul will be showcasing a fabulous seafood tasting menu with wine. The setting will be the Miele Showroom in the St James Quarter. An intimate 12 seater dining table with Paul cooking and explaining all the elements that you will be eating. Each dish will be paired with wines from Cloudy Bay - NOW SOLD OUT
Paul is turning 50 this year and to celebrate this milestone he will be climbing Mount Toubkal in the high Atlas mountains in Morocco. What an adventure! Our beloved chef has never trekked anywhere before, not even a munro! We know he will do us proud. THE RESTAURANT
When Paul and Lisa Wedgwood started formulating Wedgwood the Restaurant over the years, in their minds, and on the inevitable scraps of paper, they were adamant that they wanted to create their ‘Perfect Night Out’.
This was to be in friendly non-obtrusive surroundings – fine dining without the pretentiousness. This, without a doubt, as many diners and journalists have endorsed, has certainly been achieved.
NO ONE IS EVER RUSHED
Tables at the Restaurant are not “turned”. Paul and Lisa firmly believe dining is a time to be enjoyed and a time to relax.
Whilst the service at Wedgwood is efficient, no one is ever rushed – diners are welcome to stay for as long as they wish.
If this means that the restaurant does not close until late, this is considered quite acceptable by the staff.
OUR ETHOS
We can’t quite believe that it is 2023 and 16 years ago we opened the doors to Wedgwood. We are still as excited, and motivated as ever, to give you our vision of a perfect night out.
We are so proud to be situated in the heart of this culinary city and as ever, we promise to keep strong to our ethos of sourcing the finest local produce and ingredients, creating innovative dishes to wow you and your guests. Our passion is wild food and foraging and as each season comes upon us you will see more of these delights appear on the menu. As a chef I am often foraging for myself and the restaurant,
please speak to the front of house team to see what foraged delights we have to share with you.
Food and wine are our passion, and our commitment to finding you intriguing and exciting wines never ceases. We are more than happy to
help you choose the right wine for your meal, so please don’t hesitate to ask. We always like to tempt our guests to take advantage of our
